February Life

I have not abandoned my blog. :) Yeah right! you may say! :) Well, there will be no catching up, just moving on.

Life is good. God is even better! We are so blessed. Since Jamin went full-time at the church, our faith has been stretched until it seems it would snap! But God knows best, and I'm praying that I am learning as I go. I truly want to serve God with all my heart, and I'm glad we now live closer to the church and Jamin is able to put a lot of time into the ministry.

I am 18 weeks along in my pregnancy. We find out in two weeks wether it's pink or blue!! We are planning and ready to build a room onto our carport to make a little more room for our growing family.

Jackson is almost potty-trained, praise the Lord!! It's already saving us so much money, not buying diapers for two. He is SO full of spirit and life, almost too much some days. We're learning how to discipline. As he learns more, our tactics have to change a little. But he can be absolutely the sweetest boy on the planet.

Timothy is into EVERYTHING! He is definitely my busy one. He is loud and makes his presence known. He often tells me "no." He scrunches up his face a lot. He can identify most of his body parts. He can say a LOT of words. One of his newest words is "yogurt." He says it with his tongue... it's so cute!

I love being a Mommy. Some days I could absolutely go into hiding. The work never ends. I mean, when is the house clean, how long before there is something out of place again, or dirty dishes in the sink? Um... like five seconds! But I'm learning to deal with it. It's more important to raise my children and build my home, instead of keep my house. Life is a learning experience.

I have to say my newest hobby is playing the piano. I made the New Year's resolution for 2010 to play a real offertory every Sunday morning. It was a huge goal for scared me, but the Lord helped me greatly. I think I only missed about three Sundays the whole year. So now, a year later, I have some I can just pull out without learning a new one every week. I just ordered some new arrangement books last week with my birthday money. I can't wait to get them in the mail!

All for now, hoping this post will jump-start my blogging again... complete with pictures! Thanks for stopping by!

Joy I love it when you say "I love being a Mommy. Some days I could absolutely go into hiding. The work never ends. I mean, when is the house clean, how long before there is something out of place again, or dirty dishes in the sink? Um... like five seconds! But I'm learning to deal with it. I sometimes feel the same exact way and it is just nice to know that I'm not the only one. You are such an encouragement and I'm so happy that both you and Alicia are in my life. You are a blessing!

Thanks,
Christina

Yes, being a Mommy is wonderful and tiring, but very rewarding. I wouldn't trade it for anything! Well, some days I might...just kidding! :-)
I've been trying to learn that myself to just take it easy and not stress so much over the house, but when you have 5 boys and a husband...well, you know :-)
I feel like if my living room is picked up and my dishes washed, my whole house is clean. Anyway...loved the post and love you ~ Kristan
