Jackson's First Christmas

Oh, where to begin...

We are in Tennessee right now, having Christmas with my side of the family. We were in Virginia last week with Jamin's. There is so much to blog about. I guess I will start with our Christmas at home before our trip.

It was Jackson's first Christmas! We were so excited! We wanted everything to be so fun for him. But you know how it goes. They don't care about the toys as much as the paper, ribbons, and I guess the coffee table in our case. :)

Jamin bought me a beautiful set of (real) pearls. It was a necklace, bracelet, and earrings. They are so beautiful! He also got me a gorgeous red coat. I've wanted one forever!

We had a wonderful family Christmas at home, and thank God for our sweet son. I didn't include a picture of our three stockings together. They will be four next Christmas!

Jackson's First Haircut

Jackson was born with a lot of hair. It's been long in the back since he was born, and over his ears for months now. It's just a few weeks until his first birthday, so we decided to cut it.

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

I finally got around to some decorating! I love Christmas decorating, but haven't felt great the last few days. Jackson was a little scared of the tree at first. He doesn't like to touch things that are prickly or weird. But he got used to it and likes to take the ornaments off now!

We got our tree about 1/2 mile up the road from our house at a place called Sugar Tree Farms. That's where we got our tree last year. It's a cut-it-yourself farm, so neat! We got an 8-footer this year! It's not the most gorgeous tree ever, but we still don't have a ton of ornaments.

I love having a fireplace!

I couldn't post without a few "busy Jackson" pictures.
