Creation Museum

This is a great museum! A little expensive, but worth it (once anyway). :) Here are a few pictures from our fun day:

Jamin's Ordination

I'm finally getting around to posting about Jamin's ordination. I think it's funny how almost everyone's blog contains posts that talk about how they never post on time. :) It's just one of the facts of blogging, I guess.

It was a precious day. I can't even explan to you how emotional I was. It was just a great day, set apart to sort of make our ministry "official." I was so excited and had shopped for a new outfit. I had planned my testimony for months. I had given Jamin a special card and a few special gifts to help him celebrate, and to show him how much I love him and am thankful for him. It was a sweet day!

We gave our testimonies first, about salvation, education, marriage, and God's calling and leading in our lives.

Jamin's dad gave the charge, and also sang with Jeanene and Jada.

The dedication prayer. Bro. Jimmy and both our dads signed the certificate, and laid hands on Jamin in the prayer.

We are so happy together in "the service of the King!"

Time to eat! The ladies of the church had prepared a delicious meal!

A little grandparent time
I'm posting this picture because you can see my necklace. Jamin gave it to me that morning, along with a sweet card (his cards are tear-jerkers). His card was so precious, thanking me for being his helpmeet, his virtuous woman. It was a precious moment for me, not that I deserved it one bit.
I am so thankful for Jamin. He is a wonderful husband, and a great "dada" to Jackson. It is my privilege to serve beside him. We are thankful to the Lord that He has place us in His ministry.
I actually have a picture of the three of us together, and one of the whole family. Well, I don't have them, they're on Jamin's Mom's camera, so I'll have to post those another time.
Thank you to all who were there and had a part in Jamin's special day. We love each and every one of you so much!

VBS!! 2008

Well, Vacation Bible School was a great blessing. It was a lot of work, but it was a ton of fun! We had several children ask the Lord to save them...the greatest harvest of all!

Ahh...sweet victory!

Decked out in our uniforms for the week!

Be a 5-star Christian! Jamin taught this from a military standpoint. Reading the Bible is like reading the handbook; praying like keeping in touch with headquarters...

Some of these are really blurry, but you can get the idea.

Jamin made this tank out of cardboard...it turned out great!

Our ongoing skit. Alicia was the drill sergeant, and Vickie and I were the new recruits. It was hillarious!

Caleb, after winning a pudding-eating contest!

We enjoyed it all so much, but I have to say we breathed a sigh of relief when it was all over!

Around home, Jackson is really coming alive! He is trying so hard to crawl, and getting so close!

Helping me sort through my magazines

Falling asleep...fighting 'til the end

Okay, a fun family picture...

Um...try again!

It's harder than it looks! :)

Well, for whatever reason, here it is! :)

Thanks for stopping by!
